DMCA & Copyright

How creators and rights holders can report copyright infringement and how affected uploaders may respond.

At a glance

Only submit a notice if you own the rights or are authorised to act for the rights holder. Knowingly material misrepresentations in a notice or counter-notice may have legal consequences.

01

Submit a takedown notice

Send a signed written notice through the Contact Us page marked “Copyright/DMCA”. Include the copyrighted work, the exact FapSin URL for each allegedly infringing item, your contact details, a good-faith statement that use is unauthorised, a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorised, and your physical or electronic signature.

02

What happens next

We may remove or disable access to identified material, notify the uploader and, where appropriate, provide information from the notice so they can respond. We may reject incomplete or unclear notices and may terminate repeat infringers’ accounts in appropriate circumstances.

03

Counter-notice

If material was removed by mistake or misidentification, the uploader may send a signed counter-notice identifying the material and its former location, stating under penalty of perjury that removal was mistaken, providing contact details and consenting to the relevant federal court jurisdiction and service of process as required by law.

04

Other removal requests

Privacy, consent, impersonation and safety complaints are not copyright claims. Use Content Removal or Complaints Policy for those issues. Do not use copyright notices to settle personal disputes or suppress lawful criticism.
